03 / PRODUCT ROLLOUT / VIVRITI
A pilot is a start. Adoption is the work.
A leadership-sponsored Cursor pilot that became a 100-license enterprise rollout.
- MY ROLE
- Initiated and led evaluation, pilot and rollout
- STATUS
- Rolled out · 100 licenses
- COLLABORATION
- Leadership-sponsored; governance co-led with colleagues
The problem
Trying an AI coding tool is straightforward. Introducing it across an engineering organisation means working through fit, access, cost, training and responsible use.
What I owned
I initiated and led a one-month pilot, built the business case and worked through procurement, rollout, training, measurement and iteration.
- 01Evaluate
- 02Run the pilot
- 03Build the case
- 04Roll out & support
Two decisions
Make the pilot a decision point.
A bounded, one-month evaluation gave the organisation a concrete basis for deciding whether to expand. I connected the evaluation to the business case and procurement.
Treat rollout as product work.
Licenses alone would not establish use. Training, measurement and iteration were part of the rollout, with governance co-led alongside colleagues.
What came of it
The leadership-sponsored pilot became a 100-license enterprise rollout.
What matters
Getting a tool into people’s hands takes ownership beyond the technical evaluation.
